Lincoln is a big sponsor of the Grammys, and to show their love of music we decided to make a guitar amplifier out of car parts. Using pieces from the interior of the 2017 Continental, including the speakers out of the doors, the seat leather, the dash wood, and interior knobs and buttons, we enlisted one of the best amp builders in the world to help us pull it off. We then convinced Gary Clark Jr. to test it out and put our creation through it's paces. The campaign has picked up a couple of nice awards, and the amps we built ended up in several tugs of war between musicians, Ford executives and Harman Kardon engineers over who could keep them displayed in their offices or taken on tour. They were real nice.
