My grandfather passed away recently, but he was quite the story. He was a GP doctor throughout his life that showed up in the middle of the night, leather doctor's bag in hand. But long before that, he was apart of one of the original frogmen special forces units in World War II. Called Z-Force or Z-Special Unit, it is what became the SAS and one of the influences for such units as the Navy Seals. But while he had this interesting history, he was a quiet guy who liked his classical music, watching the cricket, horse racing, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", and a nice glass of wine a 5 p.m. sharp. A couple of years ago, my wife and I went back to Australia for a few weeks to take care of him. While there, I shot some footage of him on the sly (he was pretty blind), and made this little edit that played during his memorial.
